Living Hope Church Service | March 15, 2020
Good morning Living Hope Family,
As I write this I am saddened that we will not see each other this morning - notice I didn't say we will not be together... We are together in One Spirit worshiping our King. Our time in Ephesians has shown us, where Paul says in Ephesians 4:4-6, that we are One body in the Lord, and I believe that he also meant for that to be for us as we are physically apart too. I take great comfort in that - especially as I navigate my feelings of missing you all this morning.
I have personally wrestled with this decision greatly, and I do not take it lightly that we have a serious situation with the public being held hostage with this thing (as well as those families who lost loved ones - that has been especially heavy on my heart). I am going to miss being with you all for sure, but let us remember that God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
Please join us in a online service today, being One in entering into worshiping our King Jesus together, and then listening to a message from Pastor Morris for this weekend.
Also, I hope you will be joining in with prayer today - as the President has asked that we have a day of national prayer and fasting - may this virus (and it's ill effects) be stopped dead in its tracks and completely eradicated.
Hopefully we will be back to normal at LHC very soon - until then stand firm in your faith, He is mighty and worthy of all the praise and honor and glory - Amen!
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
